Vincent M Obasi

Obasi Vincent (born September 17, 1972) is a Nigerian business analyst, project management professional, and technology specialist known for his work in operational efficiency, business analytics, and engineering systems. He is recognized for applying data-driven strategies and automation technologies to improve organizational performance and logistics operations.

Early career

Vincent Obasi was born in Mmaku in Agwu LGA of Enugu State into a family of 6 including his parents and 3 other siblings. He had his early education at Ezechima Primary School, Onitsha, He then attended Plateau School of Accountancy and Management Studies, Jos, Plateau State, for his secondary education, where he developed foundational knowledge that contributed to his later interests in accounting, business, and technology.

Vincent began his professional career in the banking sector, where he worked on operational improvement and branch management initiatives through structured operational processes and staff development programs.

Education and professional development

Obasi attended the University of Jos, Plateau State, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting in 1997. He later obtained a Diploma in Computing in 2000 before pursuing postgraduate studies. In 2014, he received a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He subsequently enrolled and studied Business Analytics at postgraduate level at University of Northampton and later specialized in project management, data analysis, and systems optimization. His technical skills include the use of analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and SPSS.

He is also associated with project delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall framework ttransforming operational data into strategic business solutions.

Vincent Obasi began his professional career in the banking sector, including his work with Ecobank PLC, where he contributed to operational improvement initiatives, workflow enhancement, customer service processes, and staff development activities. His experience in banking provided a foundation in financial operations, business processes, and organizational performance improvement.

Vincent worked in the robotics-enabled operations at the Midland Super Hub of Royal Mail in the United Kingdom. His work involved automation systems, engineering operations, and logistics optimization aimed at reducing downtime and improving efficiency in material processing systems.
