Video Messaging Service (VMS)
Video Messaging Service, VMS, is a service used to send short video messages between mobile phones.
VMS is the next step after SMS and MMS. VMS is based on a video call. VMS-messages can be sent to and from mobile phones as well as computers. VMS provides a possibility to see, comment and send video messages. When a new VMS is received in one’s personal inbox, a notification SMS is delivered to ones mobile phone.
Function
No storage space is needed for VMS; all messages are stored on central servers. It is easy to send a VMS, no software is necessary. The only requirement is that you have a mobile phone that support video call. Each phone number has its unique account, so if you want to change mobile phone your VMS messages will follow automatically.
