Vicky nanjappa

Vicky Nanjappa was born on July 8 1976. Vicky Nanjappa started of his career as a journalist in a publication called Kodagu Front and Coffeeland New two local dailies published from Coorg. He originally hails from Coorg which is popular for its coffee plantations. From there he moved to a newly launched newspaper in Bangalore known as the Vijay Times. At Vijay Times, he broke the story on the Telgi narco analysis CDs. It was for the first time in the country that people saw how exactly a narco analysis test was conducted and also how a person undergoing the test reacts. A high point in his career was when he took the narco analysis test himself and became the first journalist in India to do so. After undergoing a personal experience, he wrote that a person can tell the truth only if he is willing to and under no circumstances can narco analysis tests be used as evidence in the court of law. He specialized in legal matters and covered matters pertaining to the judiciary for almost 6 years. He was also a jury member for the Best Legal Services Award. In the judiciary he has written AbOUT several judgments and their implications on society. He did a series on the judgments which changed the face of the nation. Vicky also broke the story on how Judges sought prime land to construct their houses in Bangalore. From Vijay Times he moved to Deccan Herald. Today Vicky Nanjappa works with rediff.com, India's leading web news portal.
