Veronica Jacques

Veronica Jacques (born May 14, 1987) is an American model best known for her work on the runway, walking as a high fashion model in Chanel, Gucci, Dolce Gabbana, Donna Karen, Le Vian, Le Pearla, Cartier, Pucci, Oscar De La Renta, A.K.R.I.S, Rachel Zoe, Intermix, Kauffman Franco, Tia Cibani, as well as many others. Additional career highlights include appearing in several music videos and working with notable photographers Gregg Felsen, Matt Barr, Jason Turner, Robertino Fonseca, Terry gates, David Black, Anya Polson, David Castille, Richard Knapp, Moshe Hacmon, Bobby Sampson, Katie Halchishick, Kevin Michael Schmitz, Mark Laita.

Early life and education

Jacques was born in Los Angeles, California on May 14, 1987, the daughter of Diane Larez and Steven Jacques. She’s the second oldest of 9 and has one older sister, five younger brothers and two younger sisters. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 2005 and went on to study Child Development at Glendale Community College before leaving to pursue a career in modeling.

Career

Jacques modeling career began in 2007 when she was quickly signed by Q Models. Her first notable modeling job was a multipage spread in Latina Magazine. She has since appeared in Marie Claire, Number 6, Palm Springs Life, Nail Pro, Miche, Apparel News. In 2009, Jacques sequed into the world of high fashion modelling after a chance encounter with James Charles led to a fortuitous introduction to Crista Sides Klayman of LA Models Runway Division. Soon there after Jacques began walking the runway in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Seattle.

Commercial work

Jacques has walked in fashion shows for Macy’s, Express, Fidm, Billabong. She’s also print work including Latina, Marie Claire, Number 6, Palm Springs Live, Nail Pro, Miche, Apparel News,W magazine,glamour,brainstorm,boston,mens health

Television and film appearances

Jacques has made several television appearances, most notably in E!'s Fashion Police. In 2009 she played a fashion model in Duran Durans' Falling Down Music Video. She's also appeared in multiple Indie-Music Videos for performing artists Craig David, The Fray, Illuminati, and many others.
