Vanderveen (album)
Vanderveen is the 2006 debut album by Canadian alternative rock band Vanderveen.
History
Vanderveen announced in March 2004 on their website that they recorded the first part of their album with Grammy-nominated, Juno Award-winning producer Brandon Friesen. It was also announced on June 4 2004 that their first single, Weekend Full of Weekends, got heavily broadcasted on Canadian radio stations even though the single was independently released on 1st September 2004. Recording for the album was completed on August 21, 2004. Then, the album entered post-production for more than a year. During that time, the band uploaded samples of their songs on their website. Vanderveen finally announced that their self-titled album was scheduled for release on January 17th 2006, at the same time that the videoclip for Weekend Full of Weekends.
