Vadim Shpak

Vadim Shpak is a Singapore-based venture capitalist and academic. He is a Venture Partner at Vickers Venture Partners, a firm investing globally in life sciences, artificial intelligence, and financial technology. He also teaches venture capital and entrepreneurship at several Singapore universities.

Education

Shpak holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School) in London.

Career

Shpak has been associated with Vickers Venture Partners since 2016, initially in senior operational roles, and became Venture Partner in 2025. He has served as a member of the Venture Capital committee at the Singapore Venture and Private Capital Association (SVCA) since 2023. Until 2026, he also held the role of Director, Europe & Asia at Helena Special Investments, which operates through both non-profit and for-profit entities to address social issues.

Academic roles

Shpak teaches venture capital and entrepreneurship at several universities in Singapore. He is faculty on the Venture Capital and Private Equity Programme at Singapore Management University and an adjunct lecturer at the Asian Institute of Digital Finance at the National University of Singapore. He also holds course faculty and lecturer positions for Venture Capital Investment on the MSc Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme at Nanyang Technological University.

Public engagements

Shpak was a panellist at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2023, contributing to a session on the development of AI ecosystems covering talent, investment, and regulatory frameworks. He served as a judge at the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business plan competition 2025.
