UruIT is a Microsoft Certified Partner from Uruguay, which provides Software development and Outsourcing services with Microsoft Technologies.
History
UruIT was founded in 2007 by Marcelo Lopez and Iang Yim, two young but experienced IT professionals with a Computer Science degree, who recognized the needs of an agile (and cost-effective) IT services company to provide offshore development services from a more convenient location than India.
With multiple lessons learned AbOUT remote development and outsourcing from their previous jobs for multinational companies, and a technical background in Microsoft technologies, established a small team of talented and smart IT professionals with the goal of creating a recognized team expert in Microsoft technologies.
Microsoft awarded and selected UruIT as preferred providers, working within their teams for key Microsoft customers in the region.
Headquarters are located in Montevideo, Uruguay. This proved to be a convenient advantage its for customers in US, Spain and UK. Recently the company expanded operations to Chile, as a response to the increasing demand of outsourcing in the region.
