Uri Geva
Uri Geva is the CEO of Infinity Pro Sports, and the Co-Owner of the Brazos Valley Bombers and serves as the President of the Texas Collegiate League As the owner of the Bombers he has led an effort towards fun press coverage including an offer for Manny Ramirez and the latest offer to help Conan O'Brien find a new home for his show.
Biography
Uri Geva was born in 1976 in Columbus, Ohio and spent the next 18 years moving back and forth between Tel Aviv, Israel and the USA. His family eventually settled in College Station, TX, where he went on to study Computer Science and Business at Texas A&M University.
Upon graduation he created UK Advertising, Inc. d/b/a Infinity Pro Sports. Infinity Pro Sports has over 400 clients, Infinity is Minor League sports' leading Internet and web solutions company.
Infinity Pro Sports serves a diverse clientele, delivering solutions in the form of league sites (Arena Football 1, Major League Lacrosse, Central Hockey League, Texas League, National Pro Fastpitch, and more), sports-specific teams sites (Houston Aeros, and more), university athletic departments in the USA (University of Dayton, Manhattanville College, and more), and other specialized entities (Harlem Globetrotters, Deron Williams, Ripken Baseball, Kirk Shelmerdine NASCAR Racing, and more).
Infinity's rapid growth has not gone unnoticed. The company appeared on the Aggie 100 List for three years in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The Aggie 100 List is published by The Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in cooperation with the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University. The list recognizes and honors the success of the 100 fastest growing Aggie owned or managed businesses in the world.
Geva bought an expansion summer league collegiate baseball to bring Bryan-College Station, Texas. In introducing in 2007 the Texas Collegiate League's (TCL) expansion team, The Brazos Valley Bombers. The Bombers provide traditional family entertainment in a minor league atmosphere during the summer months. The Bombers set multiple league attendance marks in their inaugural season of 2007 including the largest home opening night, largest home run derby crowd, largest playoff game attendance, and most total fans in a TCL season. The Bombers have continued to break league attendance marks in the 2008 & 2009 seasons.
