Union of Martial Arts Organization of Negros and Bacolod

The Union of Martial Arts Organization of Negros and Bacolod (UMA-ONEBA) is a voluntary association of AbOUT 45 Karate, Arnis, Taekwondo, Judo, Aikido and Tangsoodo clubs/teams that organizes athletic programs and martial arts competitions of many schools, colleges and universities in the Philippine province of Negros Occidental. Its headquarters and Hombu Dojo is located in Helvetia Subdivision in Bacolod City, the provincial capital.

Masskara Martial Arts Festival

An event celebrated every October in connection to MassKara Festival in Bacolod City started with a parade in The Downtown area of the city and later gather in Bacolod Arts & Youth Sports Center (BAYS Center) in one common goal to showcase different style, arts and method of different martial arts.

UMA-ONEBA Presidential Cup Championships

A karatedo competition participated by different clubs and team in Negros Island organized by the Union of Martial Arts Organization of Negros and Bacolod in giving merit and honor to the leadership and contribution of its founder and president Atty. Emilio Alimon. The first tournament started in the year 2002 which participated by 15 karate team in the province.

Martial Arts Showdown

A martial arts exhibitions organized by the Jack and Jill Schools-Castleson High student council organization in cooperation with the Union of Martial Arts Organization of Negros and Bacolod.

The event was held at the Bacolod Arts, Youth and Sports Center in Bacolod City. The event was presented by Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Bacolod Representative Monico Puentevella.

Various groups performed in the showdown like aikido, karate, wushu, kickboxing, taekwondo, tang soo do, arnis, judo and freestyle martial arts.

Delegates and performers include jins and karatekas belonging to the Negros Occidental Karatedo Federation, Tapondo International Federation, Administered Training Leading to the Empowerment of Talisay Athletes Karatedo, Negros Baston Federation, University of St. La Salle Karatedo, Traditional Shotokan, Masthodon Karate Club, Guinabo Arnis and Combat Sports, Black Dragon Taekwondo, Vilcat La Carlota, Kalantiaw Defense Society, Wushu-Sanshou Federation, Black Falcon-St. Joseph's High School taekwondo, Golden Kamagong Arnis, Mantas Daga, Jack and Jill Karatedo and Castleson High Karatedo.
