UKAT

UK Addiction Treatment (UKAT) is an organization that provides private in-patient addiction treatment and rehabilitation centers throughout England. It was founded in 2012. The centers treat a variety of addictions, including alcohol and [...] abuse, eating disorders, [...] addictions, internet addictions, and other forms of addiction. UK Addiction Treatment admits 140 patients per month.

As of 2017, 65% of UK Addiction Treatment's patients were addicted to legal substances, such as alcohol or painkillers. Admissions for these types of addictions, including those for prescription and over-the-counter drugs, has increased 22% in the past 2 years.

In January 2017, UK Addiction Treatment acquired Addiction Helper, an online and phone hotline offering advice regarding addiction founded in 2010.

There are six UK Addiction Treatment residential rehabilitation centers in the United Kingdom, including 130 beds. Treatments can last from 7 to 28 days, and are extended by willing patients. UK Addiction Treatment announced plans to open another facility in Banbury, Oxfordshire in late 2017.
