Tymon Kruidenier
Tymon Kruidenier (born October 16, 1980 in Middelburg) is a Dutch guitarist. He became well known in the world of metal, being a member of the envelope-pushing band Cynic from 2008-2010.
Biography
His previous project was a Dutch metal fusion band called Exivious, in which he recorded one and the only release before Exivious actually disbanded. He was a guest musician during the recording session of the highly acclaimed Obscura's 2009 album, Cosmogenesis. In the meantime, it was announced that he joined Cynic along with his Exivious bandmate, bassist Robin Zielhorst. Besides playing the second guitar in Cynic, he also handles all of the death growls. He is also ACTIVE as a producer / mixing engineer. Tymon uses Steinberger guitars, like his bandmate, Paul Masvidal.r
In December 2010, Tymon Kruidenier and Robin Zielhorst parted ways with Cynic and currently they are working on a new Exivious album which will be released during 2011. Kruidenier also started to work as an online columnist for Prog Sphere webzine. In his first column, Tymon writes AbOUT his plans for the future.
