Twitrans

Twitrans is twitter application developed by an Israeli-based Company called "Three Innovators".
It allows Twitter users to translate their tweets into a variety of languages. The translation process is done by human translators using the onehourtranslation platform.
The service is free and was probably developed as a viral marketing method for www.onehourtranslation.com

Using the service

A twitter user who wishes his tweet translated sends the message to @twitrans and includes the source and target languages.
For example, to translate a message from English to Portuguese the user tweets the following: "@twitrans en2pt message text ".
The tweet is then being routed to human translators and the result is routed back as a tweet to the person who requested it.
