Trombi.com is a social networking website created in 2000 by André Pitié who founded Trombi SARL. This website helps members find, connect and keep in touch with friends from kindergarten, primary school, high school, college in France. Trombi.com has more than members in France. Registration

You need to register in order to access to the services proposed by Trombi.com. The registration process enables the user to find a school he attended by looking for his region, city and type of school. Once he found one of his schools, the user can give the period he was in this school. Then, he gives personnal data enabling him to register into the directory of alumni of his school with his firstname and lastname. He also gives his e-mail address that will enable him to relogin and receive messages sent by Trombi.com. His e-mail address is hidden on the website and is never forwarded to any third party.

• Photo album

Any member can publish for free up to 11 pictures on his profile.

• Classphotos

Any member can publish for free class photos related to the schools he attended. He then can tag each face with names of classmates he recognizes. Any member can watch the classphotos published by other members.

• People search engine

Any member can search for people without necessarily knowing the name of his school: an enhanced search enables him to look for people based on their firstname and lastname. The results are displayed based on the list of members registered in all of the database of the website.

• List of schools

Any member can add on his profile the list of schools he attended, from kindergarten to the highest university degree. For each school, the member can watch a list of the alunmi of his class and of the other classes.

• Contact list

Any member can create a friends list. On the profile of any people he can visit, he can click on "I know this person". This contact list enables him to keep in touch with his friends and relatives: he will be able to receive alerts in case his contacts update their profiles, and his contact list will be displayed on his profile.

• E-mail alerts

Any member can decide to receive e-mail alerts to inform him about updates of his friends and relatives profiles.

• Mailbox

A mailbox system inside the website enables the members to send and receive messages without displaying their e-mail address.

Moderation system

Each picture and each registration is validated by Trombi.com helpdesk employees. It is not possible for a member to register with a fake identity, members must use their real firstname and lastname.
