Trevor Fetter
Trevor Fetter is an American businessman who is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of Tenet Healthcare.
Career
Trevor Fetter has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since September 2003. He joined Tenet in 1995 where he served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and a member of the office of the President. His responsibilities included overseeing corporate functions which included information systems, finance, law, human resources, communications and administration.
In February 2000, Fetter left Tenet to serve as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Broadlane, Inc. In November 2002, he returned to Tenet to serve as the company's President and was named the acting Chief Executive Officer in May 2003.
Compensation
While CEO of Tenet Healthcare in 2008, Fetter earned a total compensation of $9,741,246, which included a base salary of $1,081,000, cash bonus of $2,288,750, stocks granted of $2,089,620, and options granted of $4,050,810.
Education
Fetter received his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Stanford University. He earned an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
