Tori Welles

Tori Welles (born June 17, 1967 in San Fernando Valley, California) is a former American [...] star. She is sometimes credited as Brittania Paris, Torrie Welles, or Tory Welles.

Career

Welles dropped out of high school to become a stripper, but she later earned a GED.

After rising to fame in the late-1980s, Welles began directing adult films before retiring in the mid-1990s. During her early film career, she had a single small tattoo of a black bleeding heart near her vagina and a small stud in her left nostril. She was especially recognized for her intense demeanor and passion during both straight and lesbian scenes. She made a brief comeback in 1997, appearing in two movies before leaving the business again. By this time, she had many more piercings and tattoos.

Personal life

Welles was married to [...] director Paul Norman from 1990 to 1994. They had two children. She later had a third child with Another Man. Shortly before her brief comeback, her ex-husband Norman released a videotape containing what he alleged was a private home video of himself and Welles (filmed after their divorce) called The Private Diary of Tori Welles. Welles was reportedly angry but said she had no legal basis to stop distribution of the video.

She is retired from the industry and since been made a member of both the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame.
