Tomohiro Hatta

Tomohiro HATTA was born in Sapporo (Japan). He started his MusicAL studies at the age of five with Prof. M. Endo.

In 1997 he entered the class of the well-known pedagogue N. Miyazawa at the Conservatiore of Sapporo. During this period Tomohiro HATTA was severally awarded in national competitions and at the prestigious Rudolf Firkusny Piano International Competition (Prague). In this period he was invited to play the 3rd Beethoven piano Concerto with the Classical Orchestra of St. Petersburg.

After arriving in Paris, 2005, Tomohiro HATTA continued his musical studies as École Normale de Musique Paris Alfred Cortot with the polish Prof. Marian Rybicki. He got the Diplôme d’Exécution (à l’unanimité) and the Diplôme Supérieus d’Éxecution.

One year later, Tomohiro HATTA took part of the International Piano Competition Son Altesse Royale La Princesse Lalla Meryem which was severally awarded (3rd prize, Special Prize of the French Embassy, Special Prize of the Russian Embassy, Special Prize of Delegation of Culture Wilaya de Rabat Salé). On the same year he was the youngest semi-finalist of Music Competition of the City of Porto (Portugal).

During the last years Tomohiro HATTA had severally performed in France (Animato Concerts – Salle Cortot; 25ème Festival Chopin – Paris; Hotel d'Invalides ; Franco-Japanese Cultural Center;11th edition of the Festival "Carré d'As Jeunes Talents"; … ).

In August of 2009 Tomohiro HATTA recorded a CD with Christophe Boulier (violinist winner of Long-Thibaud Competition). Two months later, Tomohiro HATTA got into the semi-finals of Long-Thibaud Piano Competition.

At the moment he is finishing his musical studies with the acclamaded french pianist Billy Eidi at the CRR de Paris.
