History
Tombola and its associated companies have been involved in bingo for almost 50 years supplying bingo tickets to traditional bingo clubs and free newspaper and TV game cards.
Tombola was founded in 2000 developing free online games for various websites including Lycos and Lastminute.com.
In 2005 tombola in partnership with News International launched the online bingo website Sunbingo.co.uk. tombola managed the whole of Sun Bingo’s operations including software and Game Development, customer services, payment processing and promotions.
In August 2008 News International and Tombola ended their contract, and Tombola re-launched themselves as an independent Bingo provider.
