Tom Chance
Tom Chance is a British Green Party politician. He was born in London and is running for the Green Party's nomination for Mayor of London.
Green Party career
Chance was a researcher for the Green Party for an initiative to persuade Southwark Council to adopt the Living Wage in 2008.
In 2007, Chance became the Green Party Speaker on Intellectual Property and Free Software, as well as one of their Campaign Coordinators. Then in 2010 he became their Policy Coordinator in London, and in 2014 became joint Coordinator for the London Green Party. He is currently the National Housing Spokesperson for the Green Party.
As Green Party Spokesman for Housing, Chance spoke at March for Homes where over 6000 people marched to City Hall to demand solutions for the Housing Crisis and better Housing for Londoners.
Chance was involved in a Green Party petition calling for privately owned Thameslink and Southeastern (train operating company) to be brought under public ownership and urging Transport for London to take over the development of London Bridge Station.
