T.J. Mack

T.J. Mack (born February 18, 1986) is an American professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for Wrestling Superstars Live and various other independent promotions and has also wrestled for mainstream promotions such as World Wrestling Entertainment, Ring of Honor and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He is the brother of Kirby Mack.

Career

Dexter Poindexter

Mack first appeared as his alter ego Dexter Poindexter. Poindexter quickly gained popularity and became a cult phenomenon on the Independent scene. A buzz soon followed Poindexter as the Pro Wrestling Illustrated did a full-page spread on America’s favorite nerd. In just a few short years Dexter was named #468 on the PWI’s Top 500. But in 2006 Eugene emerged. Feeling Dexter would no longer be looked upon as unique and originally, Mack started to change his attitude and look.

The Encore

In 2006 "The Encore" Mack emerged with a new attitude and game plan. Mack, either as Dexter or T.J., has made appearances in notable federations such as: NWA - TNA (Total Non-Stop Action), World 1 Wrestling, UXW, UWF-USA, FIP, OMEGA (Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts), ROH (Ring of Honor), LAW (Live Action Wrestling), NWA Florida, NWA Anarchy and many more. He has been blessed to learn from, listen to, and work with some of the greatest talents in the business, from Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, C.W. Anderson, A.J. Styles, Steve Corino, Shannon Moore, and that’s just the tip. Most recently, TJ has become a branded talent for Dale Gagne's American Wrestling Association, competing from coast to coast, facing off against some tough and amazing opponents. Opponents like Steve Corino, The Human Tornado, Ruckus, C.W. Anderson, Shannon Moore, Noah Lott, Ricky Landell, Otto Schwanz (Formally Bo Dupp), Kirby Mack and Elix Skipper, just to name a few.

In 2006 Mack had his sites set on the AWA Light-Heavyweight Championship and he would obtain his goal at all costs. In a shocking turn of events, TJ would turn on his brother Kirby Mack and align himself with manager Thomas Simpson to snatch the Light-Heavyweight title. In a match that saw the AWA divided and recognizing two Light-Heavyweight Champions (Kirby Mack and Xsiris), TJ would climb the ladder himself to combine both titles and become the only recognized AWA Light-Heavyweight Champion. Singles Gold isn’t the only thing Mack would claim. In 2006 TJ, with his brother Kirby, would capture the AWA Tag Team Championship. After losing the titles to Steve Corino and Ricky Landell, TJ would then again reclaim the AWA Tag Team Titles for a second time.

Team MackTion

Mack has been teaming up with his brother Kirby Mack, collectively known as Team MackTtion.
