Timothy R. Clark
Timothy R. Clark (born August 28, 1964) is an American scholar, author, executive coach and organizational consultant. He is regarded as an authority on leadership and large-scale change. He is founder and CEO of TRClark, a management consulting, coaching, and corporate training company. Clark writes the weekly column, "On Leadership" for the Deseret News in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has coached more than 100 executives in a variety of organizations.
Books
Clark's first book, Epic Change: How to Lead Change in the Global Age (Jossey-Bass, 2007), put forward the "EPIC" method for leading large-scale organizational change and has been adopted by many organizations, including corporations, governments, educational institutions, and healthcare systems. In his second book, The Leadership Test: Will You Pass? Clark offers a short narrative of a Chicago high school teacher who teaches one of his students the principles of servant-leadership. His third book, The Employee Engagement Mindset (McGraw-Hill, 2012), is based on research with 150 employees in 50 organizations, across 13 different industries. Based on their findings, Clark and his co-authors minimize the importance of organizational conditions, arguing that sustainable employee engagement can only be achieved through the consistent, self-directed efforts of the employee.
