Timothy M. Sullivan
Timothy M. Sullivan (born October 24 1977) is an art technologist/historian and entrepreneur in Boston. In 2006, he co-founded Maxtility, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based technology incubator.
As COO of Maxtility, he led two startups, 'Books on Poster' and 'Isonme.com', from concept to successful completion. 'CO2Stats', his most recent work, has received international attention in the press for its commitment to making the entire Internet carbon neutral.
Sullivan was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and raised in Leominster. In 2000 he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an A.B. in History of Art from Boston College. While at Boston College, he co-authored Reflections on the Connolly Book of Hours and curated the exhibition at the McMullen Museum of Art.
Sullivan went on to attend Yale University and Harvard University. He earned an A.M. in Art History from Yale in 2001, and an M.Phil. in Art History from Yale in 2005. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Yale in Art History.
Sullivan resides in Brookline, Massachusetts.
