Timm McCoy
Timm McCoy was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1958. From 1975 through 1977 appeared in stage productions: "West Side Story', "Oliver!" and "The Matchmaker" receiving Critical Acclaim. Timm started his career in radio at WNPQ in New Philadelphia, Ohio in 1980 where he received the "On Air" award for "Best Local DJ" for his show "It's Only Rock & Roll". He was on air for 2 years. In 1985, at WKSR 730am Kent State Student Radio in Kent,Ohio, Timm created "The Bug & Unk Show" with fellow disc jockey Ken Ingersoll. It became the most popular radio show to this day receiving 2 awards. One for "Best Radio Show" and "Best Promo" for a radio show. The show lasted 2 years.
In 1992, Timm was cast as a Borg (1 of 2) on Star Trek: The Next Generation in the episode "I, Borg". In 1996, he was cast as an extra in the movies: "Major League - The Minors" starring Scott Bakula. In 2000, was cast as a background artist in "Bill's Gun Shop" with John Ashton, Scott Cooper, Victor Rivers and Tom Bower and later that year playing a High School gym teacher in "Sugar & Spice" with Marla Sokoloff, Marley Shelton and Mena Suvari.
Timm is currently creating radio podcasts, television and movies through his own company PPL Micro Studios in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and continues to work in local theater and movie productions.
