Thomas & Friends New Engine Slideshow (Felix Cheng)

Felix Cheng is a YouTube user, who is well known for his New Engine Slideshow series, showing made-up characters for the Thomas & Friends franchise, which had twenty-nine episodes from 2006 to 2009.

History

In 2006, the first ever New Engine Slideshow video was made. It was created by Felix Cheng. After making his first video, he went ahead and did a whole series at the request of a user by the name of Jordan Schepis. He managed to make 29 episodes from 2006 to 2009. But then he moved on from the New Engine Slideshow making business. Other people were encouraged to make their own New Engine videos. Users who made New Engine videos inspired by his included, Thomfunk, Jonathan140, GTPS2, AllAmericanBoy9 (RailPony), and Eli J Brown. Sadly, Felix Cheng's New Engine Slideshow videos were removed on Youtube due to copyright claims from WMG regarding music. He also uploaded them to Dailymotion. But they had since disappeared from there, too. He also uploaded the images onto a website called Majhost. But in 2014, the website went down for maintenance.
