The WIRE Group
The WIRE Group, or WIRE, is India's first Real Estate fund and real estate developer based in Singapore and Bangalore.
The WIRE Group was established by Iqbal Jumabhoy in 2006, based on an idea conceived by Indian businessman Yogesh Saini and US Businessman Mark Fidelman in 2003. The company was formed to develop true Class A institutional grade buildings and townships in India. The company has interests in commercial office and industrial real estate. Its upcoming plans include hotels, offices, and special economic zones-related development projects in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
The company is headed by Chairman/CEO Iqbal Jumabhoy, who joined in 2006 and set up the various operating entities and the management team. The company has a pipeline of proposed transactions which comprises over 5 million sq ft in 2007-2008.
