The Symbio Group
The Symbio Group, also known as "Symbio" is a global outsourcing and product development company, headquartered in Beijing, China. The company helps other organizations accelerate their software development and testing cycles by using its global resources and delivery models. Symbio offers a wide range of servics, including: software design and development, internationalization (I18N), quality assurance and testing, localization, international deployment and integration and international multilingual support.
The company currently has over 1,000 employees and 13 offices. The offices are located in the US (Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Seattle, Silicon Valley) and Asia (Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Taipei, Weihai, and Tokyo).
In 2008, IDC named Symbio as one of the top 10 offshore software development vendors in China.
Symbio was founded in 1994 by a group of engineers from IBM’s international research and development labs in Asia. The current CEO is Jacob Hsu.
