The Silicon Apartment is a webcomic created by Mechael. The cartoon, produced up to twice a week, concentrates on the Story around Bill Gates and STEVE JOBS, who are forced to live together in an Apartment in Silicon Valley, California.

Story

The made-up story behind ""The Silicon Apartment"" is based upon the idea of Walt Mossberg on the retirement Party of Bill Gates. He had the Idea, to put Bill Gates and Steve Jobs together in an Apartment with Cameras and see what will happen between the two. see also Big Brother

For the english Version, the "Host" is for every Episode Tech Journalist Walt Mossberg For the german Version, the role of the Host is taken by the german Tech Journalist [http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georg_Schnurer' 'Georg Schnurer'']

Characteristics

As a special characteristic should be mentioned, that Steve Jobs' Speech balloons are written in Apple Myriad, while Bill Gates talks in Comic Sans which was mentioned in Episode 1

On the AbOUT-section 1 of The Silicon Apartment it is stated, that Mechael has changed his first Name from Michael to Mechael by forging his Birth Certificate. He is born in a small bavarian town in 1972 and worked as a Auto mechanic, Salesman, Designer and worked at Apple Inc. for two and a half years.
