The Radionics

The Radionics four original members have been on different routes before coming together to form one solid band. The Radionics has released two albums both under their previous name Rebecca Nurse, and each has been received by good reviews. In 2006, Tracy won the Phoenix Music Poll for "Best Female Vocalist".

The Radionics gained more recognition when they opened for Mike Doughty.

Since bassist Brian left the band, Tracy is now the bassist.

Name Change

The Radionics stated in an interview with their now label, Dog Hill Records, that they had many reasons for their name change. One being that some people thought Rebecca Nurse was a solo act, or that Tracy's name was Rebecca Nurse. Another reasoning is that the band has gone through many changes in lineup, and in creativity. In the final minutes of the interview, The Radionics said that they are currently (Jan. 12th, 2006) working on their third album with no set release date.

On December 1st, 2007, The Radionics announced in a MySpace blog that their New album is finished. They expect a release to be some time around December 8th.
