The Learners Chorus
The Learners Chorus () is a chorus based in Hong Kong, established in November 1979 by Andrew Chan and his friends in the University of Hong Kong as the Students' Union Choir.
The Music Director of the chorus since January 2005 is Apollo Wong.
Repertoire
The Learners perform regularly, with a repertoire that includes religious chorales, Christmas carols, madrigals, folk songs, operas, Broadway musicals, classical pieces and contemporaries.
Its library also stores commissioned choral works by notable local composers including:
- Psalm 33 by Professor Daniel Law
- October by Dr. Richard Tsang
- Out of the Depth and Songs of Ariel by Dr. Victor Chan
- Yu Lin Ling by Law Wing Fai
- Quotation of Queries by Dr. Chan Hing Yan (performed in the chorus' 20th anniversary concert)
- Confessio by Michael Mak
Accompaniment
Very often, costumes, dances, decorations, narration, slides, and other stage effects are used to accompany the chorus The Learners' previous attempts included excerpts from:

- Gypsy Love by Lehar
- Orpheus by Gluck
- Supermarket Minuet by Dobbins
- Banquet Fugue by John Rutter
- Medley from the Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Boulevard by Webber
Performing for the community
The Learners has been ACTIVE in charitable work and community service. The chorus presented several charity concerts the proceeds from which were donated to the "Reconstruction of Collapsing School Building Project" hosted by the Hong Kong Christian Council and other projects such as building rural clinics in China's remote hill areas.
The Learners also presented an outreach concert to the patients at the Chung Hom Kok Cheshire Home.
