The Gaa Gaas

The Gaa Gaas are a Post-Punk/Garage band from Jersey in the Channel Islands who now reside in Brighton, UK. Named after German 70's Krautrock band Gäa who again took their name from the Greek goddess of earth Gaia. They formed in 2003 after attending a weekly garage punk night called "Bomp" which was based in their home town of St Helier. Since their relocation to the UK they have featured on compilations "Nineteen78" by Filthy Little Angels Records released in 2008, signed to The Playground Records, toured throughout the UK and Europe, released their debut single "Voltaire" in 2010 and have been featured in the new blood section of Artrocker Magazine.
