The Electric Underwater Church Movement
The Electric Underwater Church Movement is the title of the debut release of Hip Hop music producer/rapper Quazedelic, released on March 15, 2007 through 3rd Door Records. This album was recorded in Las Vegas, Nevada where Quaze received much of his inspiration for the EP.
Reception
The album was well received in the underground hip-hop community and started the movement for the Quazedelic experience. This album contributes to the world-wide fan base of the psychedelic musician. Taking a chance on a new style of music Quazedelic amazed his audience with a new flavor that was surprisingly close to the familiar hip-hop the producer previously released. Quazedelic also known as Quaze produced and recorded most of the EP himself. The album cover artwork was compared to the animation style of the motion picture Waking Life.
The Movement
The Electric Underwater Church Movement was a movement for a change in music started by rapper/producer visionary Quazedelic. This movement gained popularity amongst the artists' fan base as a Woodstock like faction for a new generation. The movement was heavily influenced by P-Funk, Hip-Hop, Alternative Rap and Rock.
