History

The Credit Pros was founded in 2009 by Jason Kaplan and Damon DeCrescenzo having rating A+" from the Better Business Bureau, offering identity theft protection, three-bureau credit monitoring, and corporate credit repair services.

In 2013, the company launched its first client portal.

In 2020, the company expanded its offering to include a credit-builder loan and launched an AI-assisted dispute process to challenge unverified or inaccurate items on clients’ credit reports.
