The Animit
The Animit was a band from Northern New Jersey, in the United States. They formed in 2002. The bass player, Rich, left the band after a bitter dispute, presumably around February 15, 2005, when the official site was taken down (the site has not been changed since 1). On February 23, 2005 they announced the newly formed band would be Symmetry Breaking (named after the physics concept), with a new bassist.
Notable venues the band has played include CBGB, and Albion (formerly Batcave)
The band is well-known for starting the Porky's music scene, which established a concert venue in the somewhat rural area of Sussex County.
