The Amrop Hever Group

The Amrop Hever Group is one of the world’s largest partnerships of independent and entrepreneurial executive search companies. Whilst the focus of the Group’s activities lies on its executive search services, it also operates in the areas of executive development and executive education.

History

In 1991, national executive search companies from various countries, operating primarily in the field of executive search services, combined to form the Hever Gruppe. Their objective was to conduct cross-border mandates in partnership, whilst maintaining the structure of the individual companies. The Hever Gruppe merged into the newly established The Amrop Hever Group in 2000.

The Amrop Hever Group currently operates out of 84 offices in 52 countries, including almost all of the countries across the CEE region. The Group and its 302 Partners generated turnover of $ 230 million with a workforce numbering 840 in 2007.

Market research company Hunt-Scanlon, which specialises in the executive search industry, cites The Amrop Hever Group in its latest ranking as one of the top 3 firms in the executive search industry .

Organisation

All of the partner firms in The Amrop Hever Group are independent and entrepreneurial companies. Yet their membership of The Amrop Hever Group enables them to offer their services with the same branding across the globe.

The Group is led by a central Executive Board based in Brussels, which is supported by a General Secretariat and manages the general processes as well as handling quality management.

The Amrop Hever Group’s consulting services are organised in international Practice Groups, each comprising specialists in the industry concerned. The 11 Practice Groups cover the following segments:
