TES Public School
TES Public School is a public high school in Daur, Pakistan.
The school became a high school within the period of three years. TES Public School is registered with the Directorate of Private Schools Sindh Karachi and affiliated and recognized by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad Sindh.
Subjects
The subjects offered up to class VIII are divided into main and supplementary subjects as follows:
Class I and V
Main subjects:
- English, Maths, General Science, Sindhi/Urdu
Compulsory subjects: General Knowledge, Islamiat, Social Studies, Arts and Crafts, Nazra and Computers.
Class VI to VIII
Main subjects: English, Maths, General Science, Sindhi/Urdu
Supplementary subjects: General Knowledge, Islamiat, Social Studies, Drawing, Arabic, Nazra and Computers.
Class IX and X
Main subjects: English, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Sindhi, Urdu, Computer
Compulsory subjects: Islamiat, Pak. Studies, Asan Urdu, Asan Sindhi
Library
The TES Public School library is called Sania Memorial Library and was established by Mr. and Mrs. Karam Ali in remembrance of their daughter Sania Ali. It has 1200 books.
Segregation
GeneRally boys and girls are segregated from secondary level (from VI) otherwise there is co-education system for the pre-primary and primary sections.

School uniform
Boys
Boys wear gray trousers, white shirt with grey necktie embroidered with school monogram, black shoes with lashes and white socks throughout the year. In addition, a blue coat/sweater in winter.
Girls
Girls wear grey shirt and white shalwar along with white scarf and school monogram stitched on pocket pasted on skirt, black shoes with white socks throughout the year. In addition, a navy blue coat/sweater in winter.
Prefects
Prefects manage discipline in the school. Their identification is:
- Head Prefect: red Patta
- Prefects: dark blue Patta
Time duration
The academic year is divided into three terms of equal duration:
- First Terminal April-October
- Second Terminal/Annual October-March
Summer vacations are usually in June and July.
Terminal examination
- Terminal examination: first week of October
- Annual examination: first week of March
Other tests
Teachers may conduct a monthly test giving students some notices, surprise tests and quizzes etc, with a view to create an opportunity for the students to enhance their writing skills for the exam before terminal examination.
Houses
The four houses are Jinnah, Latif, Khalid and Ibn-e-Qasim. They inculcate a competitive spirit amongst students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
