Termoil
Termoil is a power/heavy metal band that come from the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire area.
History
Termoil originally started as four piece band named The Unknown. The original line-up for the Unknown was Aaron Clark, Tom Lonsdale, Lee Hodgkinson and Jonny Claxton. This lineup did not last long, as for Jonny left the band, to be replaced by Craig Brown. Shortly after Lee also left, due to MusicAL differences. Soon a replacement was found for Lee. There was then many lineup changes, and in the end Termoil ended up as a 3 piece once again. After looking for another guitarist for around two months, guitarist Matt Brand from Sangre Negra stepped in to fill the second guitar slot in the band for Gig 2005 at the King's Lynn Corn Exchange. After the gig the band spoke with Matt, and Matt agreed to become a permanent member of the band. The New lineup, which included Aaron Clark, Tom Lonsdale, Craig Brown and newly joined Matt Brand went on to become the backbone off the lineup to this day. Termoil roadie, Stuart Kirby, then put the band into contact with vocalist Gareth Cooper, who was part of Stuarts ex-band. Gareth then joined the band, completing the line-up, but only for one gig. After the departure of Gareth Cooper, Stuart Kirby then joined the band as the new vocalist and the third guitarist, playing rhythm guitar for the band, and also filling in on bass for some off the songs. Termoil have just finished recording their debut E.P, Blood Of Our Ancients, which will be released soon!
