Telx Internet Exchange

The Telx Internet Exchange (TIE) is a public Internet exchange point in the United States with locations in Atlanta, GA and Phoenix, AZ. The TIE offers Ethernet connectivity ranging from 1-Gigabit to multiple 10-Gigabit speeds, and participants are able to utilize IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity to other peers.

The TIE is operated by Telx.

Requirements

Participants in the TIE must have the following:

  • an Autonomous System Number and run BGP
  • Single mode fiber connection at minimum 1-Gigabit speed
  • Peer with the TIE route viewer

The TIE is a non-free exchange, and members must pay setup and reoccurring fees.
