Technology and Services
TelCentris’ Unified Communications Engine is a turnkey solution for telecommunications service providers, including VARs and wireless operators, and provides a low-cost VoIP offering. This Service Delivery Platform provides Hosted IP Centrex, Hosted IP-PBX and IP and SIP trunking services to small and medium businesses and was recognized as an Internet Telephony Product of the Year in 2007 and 2008.
The company’s online-based consumer plan offers users the option to make calls through a PC, or a broadband phone to receive an Analog Telephony Adapter (ATA) and plug a standard analog phone into a broadband internet connection to make calls independent of the PC.
In November 2008, TelCentris launched the public beta of VoxOx, a “Universal Communicator service” that unifies voice, video, Instant Messaging, text (SMS), social media, e-mail, file and content sharing into one interface.
