Tara Zrinski

23416-darryl-pottorf Tara Zrinski is the County Executive of Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Elected in 2025 she is the first woman to hold that position. She is a Democrat.

Biogaaphy

Academically Zrinski has taught philosophy at Northampton Community College.

In 2022 Zrinski lost by only 22 votes to Nick Milller in the 14th district in the Demictatic primary race for the Pennsylvania State Senate.

Immediately previously to being elected the Northampton County executive, Zrinski served as the Northampton County Controller. As controller Zrinski oversaw an audit which found that the Gracedale nursing home only used half of the money set aside for employee bonuses was used for that purpose. Then later as County Exexutuve she unveiled A Plan to revamp the same nursing homes's campus woth with a new 700-bed skilled nursing facility, dialysis center, workforce housing, and retail area.

She also gas a long record of vengeance a local Climate Justice advocate.

Zrinski is the authorvof the children's book "All Ducks Are Birds (But Not All Birds Are Ducks".
