T2 (Saudi company)
T2 (), also known as Business Research and Development Company, is a Saudi company headquartered in Riyadh. Established in 2014, it specializes in business research and development.
History
Founded in 2014 by Abdullah Al-Dosari to provide corporate solutions across sectors, T2 launched RICH - a unified communications platform. In 2017, it released its second cloud product OLE5 for administrative correspondence.
In August 2021, T2 partnered with Saudi Schizophrenia Association.
The 2022 launch of Najiz, Sigma and Availo platforms expanded its portfolio to 17 brands.
In June 2022, T2 signed investment agreements with Egyptian companies Fawry and Khazna, along with Saudi venture capital fund Khwarizmi Ventures during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Cairo visit, aiming to enhance Saudi-Egyptian fintech collaboration.
October 2022 saw T2 partner with Elm at GITEX 2022.
November 2023 brought leadership changes with Mamdouh Al-Aqeel becoming CEO, while Al-Dosari transitioned to Managing Director.
December 2023 marked the launch of Serv (professional services subsidiary) and partnership with Tarjama to promote language tech products.
March 2024 saw T2 acquire Omani data analytics startup Promize followed by August 2024 majority stake acquisition in Jordan's Smart Way Business Solutions.
October 2024 brought GITEX 2024 partnerships with Omani startup Sampo to enhance MENA e-commerce and significant stake acquisition in Florinz for tech-marketing integration.
