Syracuse International Film Festival
The Syracuse International Film Festival (SYRFILM) is an annual event that takes place in Syracuse, New York that is devoted to making inter-cultural and inter-personal encounters to enrich people's lives through film. Time and time again the Film Festival is a showcase of amateur film makers struggling to break into the industry and well-known international directors seeking a new project. The Festival Headquarters is located at 500 South Warren Street (Hotel Syracuse) Syracuse, NY.
History
The SYRFILM festival began in 2004 as a Point of Contact production, but is now run by a team dedicated to only the festival, so that they may spend all of their time ensuring that the film festival May Be well-planned, thoroughly set-up and may do justice to the hard work of those who submit their films. The film festival committee has been working harder to bring "indie" films to the general public, and to give aspiring filmmakers a chance to have their work seen.
