Synergos

Synergos is a non-profit organization with a mission to reduce global poverty through “inclusive partnerships” that bring together government, business, civil society and local communities.

History

Peggy Dulany founded Synergos in 1986 and Robert H. Dunn is the organization’s President and CEO. Synergos is headquartered in New York and has regional offices in Latin America and Southern Africa.

Partnerships

The Partnerships program aims to assemble partnerships between social sectors—government, business, civil society, and local communities. Synergos is currently involved with partnerships in Brazil, Canada, India, and Southern Africa.

Networks

The organization supports two social networks: the Senior Fellows and the Global Philanthropists Circle.

The Senior Fellows network is comprised of civil society professionals who are focused on global poverty. Launched in 1999, the current group of 93 Fellows comes from 32 countries around the world.

The Global Philanthropists Circle is an international network of philanthropists focused on global poverty. The Circle includes more than 70 philanthropic families from more than 25 countries.
