Sushil Kumar (scholar)

Wing Commander (Dr) Sushil Kumar (born March 1951) is a Gandhian Scholar who recently inaugurated World Peace Congress at Banagalore, India.

He is an alumnus of Guru Nanak Dev University (Distinguish Alumni), Agra University, Madras University, Punjab University and Jawahar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, http://www.jnu.ac.in/aaj/AlumniMember.asp?searchStr=S.

A soldier scholar Kumar has been the Director Research and Administration of Indian Council of Historical Research since 17 July 1997.

In one of his radio interview, broadcast on the Republic Day, Kumar a soldier- scholar exhorted the soldiers and Officers of the Armed Forces to keep books in trenches, ships and in the Cockpits, for a successful transition in to second career in the civil street.
