Susan Rowe Harrison
Susan Rowe Harrison is an American visual artist who uses painting, drawing and ceramics.
Her artistic education began at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she focused on painting and drawing. She subsequently pursued higher education at New York University, receiving an M.A. in Art and Education, and at the University of California, Berkeley, where she completed a B.A. in art history.
In January 2026, Harrison curated Primeval Ground [deep, unfathomable] at Westbeth Gallery in New York City, held from January 7 to 25. The group exhibition featured ten artists whose works explored monochromatic and low-chroma palettes across photography, weaving, installation, drawing, painting, sculpture, and performance.
