'''Survivor: The Canadian Wilderness''' is the first season of the Canadian EDition of Survivor. It follows the same format of its counterpart, 'Survivor', produced by CBS. Filmed in August 2008, it featured 6 castaways abandoned in the middle of Fitzroy Harbour Provincial Park* [http://www.ontarioparks.com/ENGLISH/fitz.html], left to fend for themselves. The competition was held over 24 hours and debuted online September 25, 2008* [http://www.youtube.com/amazingraceorleans].

The beginning of the season divided the tribes by random draw. It featured 5 women and only 1 man. On hour 4 there was a tribe mix-up which caused the several castaways to move tribes. On hour 20, the tribes merged and named themselves 'Enigma' after the song, 'Return to Innocence'. After 24 hours of competition, Alli Medjuck beat out Katherine Munro in the final vote 3-1.
