Sunflair

Sunflair is a German swimwear brand. In 1980, this was developed by Adolf Riedl GmbH & Co. KG, Bayreuth, and has been in its possession ever since. The company describes itself as Europe’s market leader in swimwear. Exact figures to verify this are not available, but the brand is without a doubt one of the global leaders in swimwear.

The special features (USP) of the brand are lavishness of design and better than average fit. Women whose figures are not exactly ideal particularly favour this attribute. For this reason, the company has successfully occupied itself with making improvements, especially as regards cup sizes, and with further improving wear-comfort. The special thing is that Sunflair manages to combine a high degree of functionality with attractive fashion. Here, too, modern cuts play a major part. But, above all, the brand is known for singular, lavish and versatile designs.

Extra to the “standard programme”, Sunflair supplies a particularly figure-shaping product line under the “Beauty-Form” label. Specially woven fabrics and ingenious patterns enhance the female figure in the gentlest of ways.

Sunflair manufactures the “Mastectomie” range for women who have undergone breast amputation. This is a niche segment, but the articles are very well received as they are the solution to a difficult problem, bringing back some real quality of life to the women concerned.
