Striker Pack

Striker Packs

Striker packs were first seen in Gundam SEED, Then in Gundam SEED Astray. It also appeared in other CE series and OVAs. They were first used by the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, and later on by other Striker-pack compatible mobile suits. Each of the original 3 Striker packs are compatible with:

  • GAT-X105 Strike Gundam
  • MBF-02 Strike Rouge
  • FX-550 Skygrasper
  • FXet-565 Cosmograsper (MSV)
  • GAT-01A1 105 Dagger
  • GAT-02L2 Dagger L
  • GAT-04 Windam
  • ZGMF-X12A (RGX-00) Testament

The original three packs and beyond

The original GAT-X105 Strike Gundam used the first 3 packs during the Bloody Valentine War. The original 3 striker packs are:

  • AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker pack
  • AQM/E-X02 Sword Striker pack
  • AQM/E-X02 Launcher Striker pack

Other Striker packs were built for use by Striker-pack compatible mobile suits. These are:

  • AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Striker pack
  • AQM/A4E1 Jet striker pack
  • AQM/E-M11 Doppelhorn Striker pack
  • AQM/P202QX IWSP (Integrated Weapons Striker Pack)
  • AQM/P204QX Lightning Striker Pack

Trivia

  • The ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam's first three Silhouettes are analogous to the Strike Gundam's original Striker packs.
  • The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam's weapons layout are inspired by the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, according to Kunio Okawara.
