Stranger (person)
A stranger is a person who is not known to another person, such as a random person on the street.
Safety
Young children are often taught not to interact with strangers, as they May Be criminals who will kidnap children. It is common to see children being told "don't accept candy from strangers," "don't ride in cars with strangers," or even "don't talk to strangers."
Safety experts note that many kidnappings or abductions have been associated with children talking to strangers.
However, others say that it is entirely possible to talk to strangers safely. It is often small talk between strangers that eventually lead to friendship. This is evident in the proverb "A stranger is a friend you've never met."
In many cases, in times of trouble, such as a car failure, it is noted that it is often a stranger who stops and helps.
Online strangers
While communicating online with strangers is considerably safer, safety experts advise that children should not give away personal information that may lead [...] offenders in their home, as this has happened on popular sites like MySpace.
