Stjepan Rudic
Stjepan Rudic (Split, Croatia) is a Canadian artist living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born in Croatia, he worked as a marine meteorologist, until he left by boat 1957 for Italy. The voyage would become the subject of one of Rudic's paintings. In Italy he worked in the restoration of churches and villas in Cremona, Lago di Garda and Caserta. In 1960, he arrived in Canada. For 30 years, Rudic worked in the general repair business, and in 1990 he rekindled his passion for paintings.
Stjepan Rudic is a member of the Nova Scotia's Contemporary Art Society for over 20 years and has received numerous special Honorable Awards for his artworks.
Exhibitions
During the mid 1990's he ran a private gallery in Halifax for 3 years. He has participated in numerous activities including exhibitions at Park Lane Gallery in Halifax, Senior's Gallery of Nova Scotia, The World Trade Center, IWK Children's Hospital, and the Multi-Cultural Show in Dartmouth.

The art of Rudic is a detailed observation of nature, life, memories, family, adventure and history, where the dream meets with reality. His works are found in private collections of companies and individuals from Japan, Croatia, France, Canada, U.S.A., Egypt, Italy, Germany and South America.
