Steve Soffa (designer)
Steve Soffa is an American artist and designer known for his timepieces that are sold and distributed to Fortune 100 companies, such as Oracle, Apple, HP, Sony, Universal, BMW and other.
Career
1998
- Wins award in National Branding show for Most Creative Brand Presentation by the creation of software that enables Soffa to design timepieces and integrate corporate brand.
- Within one year it becomes an industry sales and development tool that other manufacturers and suppliers are measured by.
2000-2002
- Soffa becomes Vice President of top branding company in the industry, in charge of revamping operations that includes assembling the very high level professional sales organization.
- CREATES a watch division and becomes a key player in the company's marketing strategy, overseas relations, and collateral material which includes the design of multiple fashion catalogs.
2003-2005
- Soffa develops private brand strategy for first Steve Soffa Enterprises company, Hardcore Watch company. Designs, creates, manufactures and finances HCW watch line, whose customer focus is the biker industry. Develops all new collateral materials, and creates a presence at over 28 trade events per year.
2005
- April 23 Hardcore Watch Company brand launch at Laughlin River Run, Nevada
- This event is the kick ofvc bf of bike season, and one of the largest shows on the West Coast. Six initial designs are launched, which sell out promptly before end of show. The first piece “Lost Skulls” (HCW100) was the first to be later re-designed in 2 subsequent editions.
2008
- Designs first of two retail test stores a 2500 sq. foot gallery at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
- Winner of JCK (Jeweler’s Choice Awards) prestigious award for best design for Mechanical Madness diamond collection (ART716) and also received runner up award for the diamond [...] King timepiece.
- Is featured on television reality show Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (Bravo Network) and a complete segment was shot on the next models for Soffa watch campaign
2009
- Opens flagship store at Rio Casino and Hotel in Paradise, Nevada, to become a model store for licensees/franchisees.
2010
- Becomes the official designer for the 2010 World Series of Poker. Designed and manufactured 74 tournament champion bracelets and world champion bracelet.
Here, Soffa becomes the first to design and introduce the special "ladies" championship tournament bracelet.
- Re-designs the World Series of Poker acceptance set where the winners of each tournament were featured with their photos in state of the art light boxes as well as an up to date and more current look for television.
- Television appearance feature (ESPN) for the design of World Series Of Poker bracelets.
- Features in Bluff magazine and Poker Player magazine.
- Designs also feature in Hot Bike magazine and Baggers Magazine.
2012
- Runner up for best design of JCK prestigious award for (HCW810)“Lost Skulls” in diamonds timepiece.
- Gold Winner at PPAI National Branding Show for best technical design and complication for "Ace of Pain" timepiece (ART720)
2013
- Silver award winner at the PPAI National Branding Show in the category of Best Technical Design for "Twisted Love" ART700.
2014
- Launches Lost Skulls Third Edition as part of 10th Anniversary catalog.
- Opens new division focusing on creating One-Of-A-Kind timepieces and jewelry for collectors who want their own collectibles and heirlooms.
