Star Wars Republic: Honor and Duty is a three-part story arc in the Star Wars: Republic series of comic books written by John Ostrander. The first issue was published on 9 October 2002 by Dark Horse Comics. The series is set in the Star Wars galaxy eight years after the events in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and 24 years before the Battle of Yavin in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
